At Golley Slater, we believe the most creative, effective campaigns come from original thinking.

This morning a few of the Golley gang gathered at 29 Park Place for coffee, bacon sarnies and a talk from Station Road Marketing founder, Lyanna Tsakiris, who was sharing her insights on what equality in the workplace means to her. The talk was part of Creative Mornings Cardiff’s annual program of free events – sign up to hear about the next event here.
SkillsCymru is Wales’ largest annual series of careers, skills, jobs and apprenticeship events and will return to Llandudno and Cardiff in October 2017. The hunt for aspiring TV presenters, radio DJs and vloggers is on, as young people across Wales are encouraged to apply to become the face of SkillsCymru. Last year’s winner, Michelle Owen, is now a successful TV and radio presenter and credits some of her success to the experience at SkillsCymru. Think this could be you? Find out more here!
Our PR Account Manager, Hannah Dixon travelled to the depths of mid Wales to visit the Royal Welsh Show this week as part of a new campaign which is soon to launch. Visiting what’s billed as “the pinnacle event in the British agricultural calendar” she went along to get an exclusive interview!
We’re delighted to announce a new strategic recruit – Angharad Thomas – who joins us as our new Head of Planning, working across the business here in Cardiff. Originally from Swansea, she’s spent most of her career in London, most recently at WCRS, prior to which she undertook stints at BBH and W+K. Joining at what is supposed to a quiet summer period (!) her arrival is particularly good news, and a welcome addition to our Cardiff office. We welcomed her the only way we know how – with a drink at the Jolley Slater bar!
