At Golley Slater, we believe the most creative, effective campaigns come from original thinking.
Our regular round-up of what’s been going on in the Golley Slater Cardiff office over the last seven days.
We have spent the last 3 years raising awareness of the Organ Donation legislation change here in Wales, so we were delighted when after a competitive pitch, we won a new contract for a brand-new campaign to encourage more people to talk about their views on, and decisions about, Organ Donation. We’ve spent the past few weeks filming with Orchard Media & Events Group and with just a few final touches to go, we’re looking forward to seeing the campaign go live next week. Keep an eye on our social media pages to be among the first to see it.
This week we published a blog post from our new junior artworker, Tom, who started his life at Golley Slater Cardiff on one of our paid internships. After 12 weeks of working with our creative team, we offered him a permanent place in the team and we’re pleased to say he accepted! Tom has blogged about his experience and shared some advice for anyone else who might thinking of applying for an internship – click here to read his post in full.
According to the latest research undertaken by our clients Cooke and Arkwright, office deals in Cardiff during the third quarter of this year totalled 363,752 sq ft, compared with 187,775 sq ft for the same period last year. This represents a rise of nearly 100%, which Tim Lawley, associate director at Cooke & Arkwright, described as being part of “an unprecedented bumper two-year period for Cardiff, largely due to the major city-centre office developments and landmark lettings to the likes of the BBC, Motonovo and Hugh James“. Our press release on the findings was picked up by multiple media outlets, including Wales Online and Commercial News Media.
